Kala Ghoda

Hi,
The Kala Ghoda festival has become an institution in Mumbai since many years now and it was with great pleasure that I accepted their invitation to perform this year. It was in these very environs that I spend my college days (Elphinstone) and Jehangir Art gallery, Rhythm House & Bullock Cart were our hangout dens. It was nostalgia time for me and for the thousands that were gathered at the venue that night to hear me sing. This time, it was along with my son, Akshay who plays guitar in my band now. The show was a huge hit and I wish we had a chance to perform longer but the police restrictions are strict and we had to close at 10 pm! For the ones who missed the performance, the Nandoo Bhende band performs once again on 27th March at Not Just Jazz by the Bay, Churchgate.

We launched a new workshop last month; Voice Dynamic which is a 10 day, group Voice workshop, held over a period of a month with each session being 2 hours long. There are many more workshops planned in the future so, do keep tuned in for the latest info!
